History

Established in 1958.

Burt and Eileen started their journey in a Farmers market. Then in 1970, created their North Miami Beach store. True to Burt’s background as a watchmaker, Burt’s Jewelers offers quality watch repair on the premises as well as fine jewelry repair and design. Together with their son Lloyd and nephew Ben, they have built a reputation for reliability, honesty, and integrity. This year, their grandaughter ilisa-Joy has joined the Burt’s Jewelers team adding a third generation to their legacy. 

Ben’s knowledge of antique jewelry is impressive and extends to vintage ceramics, glass, and antique watches. His group lectures are both informative and interesting.

Growing up in a jewelry store environment gave Lloyd a wealth of knowledge that cannot be purchased. Over the years, he has learned from every master jeweler employed by the company. Creating a unique piece of jewelry from a simple idea in a customer’s mind is his specialty, delighting customers with his creations for over thirty years. As a graduate gemologist, he brings to the table a vast knowledge of diamonds and gems. Earning the first accredited bachelor’s degree in appraising jewelry.
